The Geometries of Life
2 - 21 October 2012
Opening Tuesday 2 October, 6-8pm
Russell Dammers paintings are 'metascapes', derived from nature’s vibrational impact on the unconscious, which alters and transforms one’s personal geometry. This emphasises the intrinsic link between both mathematics and spirituality.
The works in his latest solo exhibition bring the viewer into a metaphysical world of purity void of one’s preconceived associations with physical reality.
Born in New Zealand, Russell exhibited in Auckland prior to moving to Melbourne where he has continued to mount exhibitions, both solo and group, as well as work within the visual arts industry.
