On Common Ground
Stephanie Jane Rampton
Galleries 1 & 2
2 - 20 October 2013
Opening Wednesday 2 October, 6.30-8pm
"The landscape reflects deeply who we are; it is bound to our need for a sense of identity and belonging. Our stories and the things of which memories are made are intimately connected with the land.
Walking through a landscape may unlock a sense of nostalgia or resonate with a mood.
There is commonality in the way we feel attachment to our surrounds. The prints and drawings in this exhibition are of forests, woods and fields that hold meaning for me; I hope that each viewer will bring their own story and make a connection with their own memories."
