Adriana Artmeier
Adriana Artmeier is an emerging Melbourne-based artist focusing on realism mixed with more than a hint of surrealistic and pop-art elements.
She is is originally from Germany with Italian and Slovenian roots and moved to Australia in 2016 after graduating from the Municipal Technical School of Design in Munich. The majority of her work is inspired by the underwater world, marine life conservation and occurring challenges in todays society. Artmeier began her journey as an artist in 2008 with portraiture and developed her style throughout the years as she slowly started to use different mediums - moving from graphite pencils to coloured pencils before discovering, in 2017, the joys of acrylic and which are now her preferred medium.
