Many parts within my psyche
Listening to them
Giving them a voice
Fearful, anxious, shameful, angry
Trite, controlling, traumatised
Sweet, loving, creative, playful
with despair and with joy
Sometimes almost invisible
I listen, I write, I paint
Opening up to their feelings
They are my own.
