I draw to see the joy and hope in the world. Nature is a wonderful wonderful poet, and I love to interpret it. 

There is a continual sense of new discovery and gentle reminders that there is always more to come.

Drawing has been a fundamental part of my life from the time I can remember. Growing up, I was forever with a pencil of some sort in my hand. It helped me to make sense of the world, to express my feelings, so much better then I ever could with words.

My love of drawing has evolved into expressive and paintly works, sometimes on canvas, however mostly on paper, particularly Fabriano papers (Artistico), the quality of which I adore.

Heavily influenced by years spent in Bundjalung National Park, recurring themes of coastal scenes, cloud formations, mountains and rainforest are often reflected in my work, whether it is a figurative interpretation or a more ephemeral response.
